PG&E has a variety of engineering and project management positions available to new or recent college grads. We currently have opportunities identified in our Generation, Utility Operations and Corporate Services organizations with over 14 departments with entry level engineering or project management positions to explore. Engineering Training Programs

Entry Engineers will participate in a twelve month rotational training and development program. This program includes rotations, classroom training courses, business learning/field trips, networking events and job shadowing.

Rotations are designed to introduce a new engineer to working in a Utility with a focus on our California Gas Transmission (CGT) and Transmission and Distribution (T&D) organization’s. Rotations are designed to provide new engineers the background and experience needed to perform their job upon completion of the training program.

Each Entry Engineer is assigned a mentor who provides personal attention and support to the new engineer throughout their training program. Entry Engineer’s remain in this program until they complete the required training.
