Electric Transmission

California Independent System Operator (CAISO) administers the use of the PG&E bulk electric transmission grid. PG&E no longer markets the transmission capacity of its transmission network, nor do we provide scheduling and ancillary services to users of the transmission network. You can obtain such services through organized markets operated by the CAISO pursuant to the ISO Tariff.

Also, CAISO oversees the operation of much of the California transmission grid (also known as the ISO Controlled Grid). Wholesale generators seeking interconnection to the ISO Controlled Grid should refer to PG&E's Wholesale Generator Interconnection page.

PG&E is required to provide certain Standards of Conduct Information on its Web site. See the Transmission Owners Forum link below.
