Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) offers energy efficiency rebates to property owners and managers of multifamily dwellings that contain two or more units. The program encourages owners of existing properties to upgrade to qualifying energy-efficient products in individual tenant units and in the common areas of residential apartment buildings, mobile home parks and condominium complexes.

You must fill out a reservation form to qualify for rebate for most products installed on your multifamily property. Rebates for refrigerator and freezer recycling through PG&E's appliance recycling program does not require a reservation form. For more information go to the appliance recycling page.
You may also call PG&E's Smarter Energy Line at 1-800-933-9555 to obtain the specifications for qualifying products and to receive an information packet, which includes the reservation form, application and catalog.
In order to receive a reservation number you must fax your completed forms to (415) 973-4961, Attention: Multifamily Rebates Program. Reservations will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Note: Some products may require installation by a qualified, licensed contractor.
