Note to customers: If for some reason your data is not displayed, please read the Progress Tracker Terms and Conditions below to see eligibility for usage of the Tracker.
Your Goal
"Your goal" is equal to 90% of your weather adjusted, three-year average daily natural gas usage ("Historical Usage"). Staying at or below this goal through the last day of the billing period that includes January 31, 2013, means that you have likely reduced gas usage by at least 10% versus your Historical Usage and we estimate that you are eligible for the maximum 20% bill credit, or “Full Credit”. Reducing usage by 1% to 9% against your Historical Usage qualifies you for a one-to-one bill credit of 1% to 9%, or “Partial Credit”.
What You're Using
“What you’re using” is the current estimated weather-adjusted average daily usage (“Current Usage”) from the start of the first billing period that includes December 1, 2012, through the date typically two days prior to your log on to the Progress Tracker. If you log on after 9 pm, “What you’re using” typically displays Current Usage through the prior day.
After the last day of your billing period that includes January 31, 2013, if “What you’re using” is shaded green, check your February or March bill to see if you received a bill credit. If the bar is not shaded green, we estimate that you did not receive a WGS credit.
Full Credit
If your “What you’re using” bar is in the “Full Credit” zone, we estimate that you are meeting or beating your goal, and therefore are on track to earn a 20% bill credit.
Partial Credit
If your “What you’re using” bar is in the “Partial Credit” zone, we estimate that you are saving between 1% - 9% compared to your Historical Usage, and therefore are on track to earn a 1% - 9% bill credit.
No Credit
If your “What you’re using” bar is in the “No Credit” zone, we estimate that you are exceeding your Historical Usage, and therefore are not on track to earn a bill credit.
# Days Left
"# days left" shows the number of days until the end of your final WGS-eligible billing period (the billing period that includes January 31), typically in February. Continue saving until this date.
A customer record will be available for viewing in the WGS Progress Tracker and calculations will be performed for each Customer Account and each Customer Service Agreement as long as the customer is a) eligible for the WGS program, and b) has a SmartMeter™ that is read or billed with PG&E. To view WGS program eligibility, please see the Eligibility and Program Details.
The WGS Progress Tracker provides an estimation of a customer’s progress towards achieving a personalized natural gas savings goal, using best available data at the time of the customer’s log-on. While every effort is made to provide the most accurate representation possible of Current and Historical Usage, and therefore likelihood of achieving a bill credit, no guarantees are made that if a bill credit is estimated at the end of the program period, that the customer’s actual usage will warrant that same bill credit.
