The Application for Service is not for starting an existing service. If you want to turn on a meter at an existing premise please go to My Account or call 1-800-PGE-5000.

Please review the Application for Service Process Guide for step-by-step instructions.

For questions, or to submit your application over the phone, call the New Construction Service Center (NCSC) at 1-877-PGE-SRVC (1-877-743-7782) Monday - Friday from 7 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Please be advised that an engineering advance may be required for your project. An engineering advance covers costs associated with site visits, travel time, job estimates and contract preparation for your project. All advances received by PG&E will be applied to the balance of your contract and any unused portion will be refunded to you.

Once your application is completed a PG&E representative will contact you to discuss your project and any materials we need in order to complete your application. At that time your representative will determine if an engineering advance is required for your project. Until then, if you have any questions, please contact us at 1-877-PGE-SRVC (1-877-743-7782).
