CPUC Releases Final Decision on PG&E's Opt-Out Proposal

Following the Final Decision from the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) on February 1, 2012, residential electric and gas customers can now choose either a new SmartMeter™ or a traditional analog meter.

SmartMeter™ Program Reports to the CPUC

PG&E reports regularly to the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) regarding progress of the SmartMeter™ program. The CPUC is the California regulatory authority for PG&E.
