About Clean Energy CA

At PG&E, we are dedicated to working with Californians in partnership with the State of California to continue to lead the nation in clean and renewable energy. Our passion for clean energy is driven by our employees who work and live in the communities we serve and the progressive spirit of our customers.

We are proud to offer one of the cleanest energy portfolios of any utility in the nation.

  • One in four solar rooftops in America is in PG&E's service area.
  • More than 50 percent of the energy provided by PG&E is free of greenhouse gas emissions.
  • We're on track to deliver 33 percent of our energy from renewable resources by 2020.
  • PG&E was one of first utilities in the nation to offer energy efficiency programs to our customers and, since 1970, California's energy use has remained flat per capita, while the per capita consumption throughout the rest of the country has doubled.

Our mission is to continue to grow renewable energy sources like solar, wind and hydropower throughout California. We are all in this together and look forward to continuing to offer clean energy solutions to further the environmental and economic health of our state.
