The Electric Home rate plan is ideal if you electrify your home with one or more of the following:
- electric vehicle (EV)
- battery storage
- electric heat pump for water heating or climate control (space heating or cooling)
It includes a $15-per-month Base Services Charge that lowers the price you pay per unit of energy (KWh), on average, compared to other rate plans. If you are a large electricity user who can shift usage to lower priced times of day, this rate plan may save you money.
Your home does not need to be all-electric to qualify for this rate plan.
Note: This rate plan is available now for non-solar customers and most solar customers. Solar Billing Plan customers are automatically enrolled in the Electric Home rate plan. (Certain limitations apply).
Off-Peak: 15 hours per day: 12 a.m.-3 p.m.
Peak: 4-9 p.m.
Partial-Peak: 3-4 p.m., 9 p.m.–12 a.m.
Winter Season: October-May
Summer Season: June-September

Note: Changing your rate plan will prompt a NEM True-Up account balance. If you have a balance, that amount will be billed for payment that month. After switching rate plans, you’ll start a new 12-month NEM True-Up billing cycle.
Log into your PG&E account to view your NEM True-Up balance.
Limitations apply: This rate is currently unavailable to customers with non-standard billing, including those on NEM billing for multifamily affordable housing, aggregation, multiple tariffs, virtual systems, and NEM Paired Storage without a Power Control System (PCS).
