GHG-Free Energy Sale Solicitation

Greenhouse Gas-Free (GHG-Free) Energy Sale Solicitation 

PG&E is conducting a solicitation to sell Greenhouse Gas-Free (GHG-Free) eligible energy generated in 2024 and 2025 from large hydro resources pursuant to a confirmation. PG&E is conducting this solicitation in compliance with PG&E's Bundled Procurement Plan (BPP) which was approved by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) in Decision (D) 15-10-031.

PG&E will have no liability or responsibility to any Participant for any change in the schedule or for failing to provide notice of any change.

Solicitation materials

 

Participants must meet the criteria established in PG&E's RFO Protocol in order to submit a Bid. All required offer package documents are listed below. They can be downloaded and submitted on the Wood Mackenzie online platform linked below.

  • Attachment A – GHG-Free Energy Sale EEI Master Agreement Confirmation (DOCX)
    • The EEI Agreement Confirmation used in this RFO is specific to transactions executed under an EEI Master Agreement with Collateral Annex and as such, Participants will need to have an EEI Master and Collateral Annex in place with PG&E prior to the execution of an Agreement in this Solicitation. Participants interested in establishing an EEI Master Agreement with PG&E should send an email to the Solicitation mailbox at EPP-GHGMailbox@pge.com with such request as soon as possible.

  • Attachment C - GHG-Free Energy Sale - Confidentiality Agreement (DOCX)
  • Attachment D - EEI Master Agreement (if applicable) (DOCX)

      • Participants without an EEI Master must submit Attachment D documents to establish an EEI Master as part of their bid package by the bid deadline.
  • Attachment E - Documentation of Entity Legal Status from the California Secretary of State or Joint Powers Authority (DOCX or PDF)
    •  Participant or end-user counterparty must demonstrate that it has an "Active" legal status authorized by the California Secretary of State in order to engage in business with PG&E. A webpage screenshot verifying Participant or end-user counterparty's "Active" legal status via the California Secretary of State's webpage is acceptable. Wood Mackenzie registration

 

All participants will need to register with the Wood Mackenzie online platform to gain access to submit an offer into the RFO.
