Overview

 

PG&E is issuing its Long Lead Time Request for Offers seeking offers from Participants for the purchase of long duration energy storage and firm, zero-emitting resources to provide system-level net qualifying capacity ("NQC") by June 1, 2028, described in Table II.1 of the Solicitation Protocol.  While PG&E prefers offers for resources that can meet this online date, PG&E will accept offers for resources with online dates through June 1, 2031. Procurement in the RFO will qualify towards PG&E's minimum cumulative procurement responsibility, per the California Public Utilities Commission ("CPUC") D.21-06-035 (PDF), issued on June 30, 2021 and D.23-02-040 (PDF), issued on February 28, 2023.

Participants' Webinar

 

PG&E will host a Participants' Webinar at 9:30 AM (PPT) on Friday, October 18th, to provide an overview of the Long Lead Time RFO Solicitation and Agreements.
