Small Businesses Save Money With the Help of PG&E's Energy Advisors
Operating a small business can be dynamic, and energy management may not always be top-of-mind when staffing changes, hours of operation, equipment updates, and more are fighting for your attention. But each of these can significantly impact your energy usage and bills, which is why it’s important to review your electric rate plan options to ensure you’re still on the best rate plan for your business when a significant operational change happens, or annually. The savings impact of your new rate plan can be swift, lowering your PG&E bill as early as the next month.
Comparing rate plan options to find the right fit for your business is simple with PG&E’s Rate Comparison Tool as part your online account. You can get personalized recommendations and easily change your rate plan. And PG&E’s Energy Advisors are here to help, too!
Recently, Energy Advisors connected with over 4,500 customers to discuss rate plan options that fit their business needs, self-service tools available to them in their PG&E online account, and additional resources targeted to small business customers, such as Paperless Billing and Automatic Payments. In that time, they helped businesses save over $4.5 million just by changing rate plans.
“Our mission is to help our small business customers find a better energy future so that they can rebuild, recover, and sustain our communities. Our teams work closely with businesses to set up new service, improve energy efficiency and find ways to save,” said Alicia Romer, senior manager with PG&E’s Small Business Engagement team.
Did you know? PG&E is the only utility California with a small business team offering energy advisor services.
