Savings Finder: A Fast Way to Connect to Bill Support Resources

If you’re anything like me, time feels scarce and saving even a little extra money can make a difference. But when it comes to finding and applying for the best money-saving programs, the process can often feel complex and overwhelming.
Thanks to a new online tool, it’s easier than ever for PG&E customers to manage energy bills. By answering a few quick questions, the Savings Finder gives personalized recommendations for financial assistance, bill management programs and other resources to ease monthly energy costs.
I was in the throes of school drop-off with my kids when I first heard about Savings Finder, and didn’t think I could access it on my phone. To my surprise, the tool is available on both desktop and mobile devices, so I was able to answer the questionnaire and explore the support options available to me on the go.
The series of questions took me less than five minutes to answer. Are you on any public assistance programs? How many people live in your home? Do you have any past-due energy bills? Those are just a few examples, but each prompt helps prioritize programs and resources that can help you reduce your bill or get assistance with paying your bill.

Because customer situations can change, developers have ensured answers are never stored, so the tool can be used multiple times.
Savings Finder is the result of nearly six-months of collaboration across several PG&E departments.
Savings Finder has been designed to evolve, with multiple phases planned to enhance its functionality and user experience over time.
Personally, I’m excited to see how the tool’s capabilities will expand. The valuable information it provides, and ease of use improved my customer experience. And I hope others will feel the same way too.
