Program details

PG&E's EV Fleet Advisory Services offers one-on-one guidance from a fleet advisor who can help you switch your medium and heavy-duty fleets to EVs. You can apply for the program until December 2026.

 

Our advisors can support you through any phase of your electric fleet transition:

  • Plan development and execution
  • Energized and operational

Just getting started

We can help you take the first step to transitioning your fleet to electric.

  • Provide education on the basics of electrifying your fleet
  • Create a custom plan for replacing your fleet with electric vehicles that includes:
    • Total cost of owning electric vehicles
    • Environmental benefits
    • EV options available for your fleet
    • Recommendations for charging equipment
    • Power specifications and load planning

 

Plan development and execution

We can help you refine your fleet site details and get your project underway.

  • Assist with site planning
  • Assess the current electrical capacity at your site
  • Identify non-wires alternatives if your site does not have enough capacity
  • Provide guidance on utility infrastructure options and how to apply
  • Offer liaison support throughout your service application
  • Consult on advanced technologies such as vehicle-to-grid and automated load management

 

Energized and operational

We can help you maximize the benefits of your electric fleet.

  • Analyze your charging patterns and optimize your electric load to reduce costs
  • Advice on how to choose the best EV charging rate
  • Planning for an expansion of your electric fleet

Program eligibility

Basic eligibility

Includes site review, capacity check, service application and non-wires alternatives support.

  1. Must be a PG&E nonresidential electric customer
  2. Operate at least one medium or heavy-duty vehicle
  3. Agree to program Terms and Conditions

 

Full Eligibility

Includes all services.

  1. Meet the basic eligibility criteria listed above
  2. Belong to one of these sectors:
    • Schools
    • Transit Agencies
    • Municipalities
    • Small Businesses (<500 employees)
  3. Have a site located in an AB 841 Underserved Community
