The California Advanced Homes Program

The California Advanced Homes Program will continue in 2016, working with California’s other investor-owned utilities to offer a single, statewide program for builders of energy-efficient new homes. The program encourages new residential construction to meet goals set by the CPUC that will help all new homes reach Zero Net Energy by 2020. TRC Solutions is implementing the program for single-family new construction in the PG&E service area. For program information and an application, refer to the TRC Solutions website.

California’s investor-owned utilities, Southern California Gas Company, Southern California Edison, San Diego Gas & Electric®, and PG&E are working together to help the building industry design and develop more environment-friendly communities.

Our California Advanced Homes Program highlights best practices in energy efficiency, green building and sustainability. It offers generous financial incentives to help builders and architects create environmentally friendly, energy-efficient communities for potential homebuyers.
