Ways to pay my PG&E bill

Effective June 9, 2025: Bill payment transaction fees have changed.

Avoid fees by signing up for autopay with a checking/savings bank account or by logging in and using the one-time payment option with a checking/savings bank account.

If you pay by phone or use any payment method with guest bill pay, the revised transaction fees below will apply:

Why do I have to pay a transaction fee?

  • PG&E has partnered with an independent payment provider.
  • This provider allows PG&E customers to pay with a credit or debit card on a guest payment or recurring basis.
  • The fees for these payments are set by credit card networks, payment processors and banks—not by PG&E.
  • California Assembly Bill 746 restricts PG&E from passing these costs to all customers.
  • Only those using this payment service are charged these fees.
  • The last fee change occurred in 2017.

Don't want to pay a transaction fee?
